Career

His career began as early as 2001; at age four he was considered for We Were Soldiers, but instead made his debut in a television commercial.[1] In 2008, he starred in the movie Julia[2] opposite Tilda Swinton.[3][4] The movie was entered in the 2008 Berlinale; one German critic called Gould's performance "impressive" ("beeindruckend"),[5] and another said Gould's performance was "uncannily capable" ("unheimlich gekonnt").[6] Matthew Turner of View London called Aidan's performance a "remarkable job,"[7] and Amber Wilkinson of Eye for Film remarked, "Gould invests Tom with sufficient reticence."[8] After Julia, Gould played "Young Evan" in the 2009 Mark Poisella comedy Dynamite Swine.[9]
